Did we get scammed buying those digital NFT rabbits?
Kinda, but wasn't every NFT a scam? Futureverse merged 11 companies together across blockchain, AI and gaming, raising something like $54 million from major investors including Ripple. It became a large, ambitious attempt to build an entire "Ready Player One" ecosystem and was backed by Warner Bros. We "rabbits" backed a vision we genuinely believed in. Some of it was exciting, some of it evolved in directions we didn't expect or agree with, and the value we were left with at the end was monetarily zero. I don't really see it as "we got scammed" so much as "we were promised things that should not have been promised during an experimental and chaotic period of crypto history. It was expensive tuition fees for learning how hype cycles, markets and technology actually work in the real world. They are exploited by those who understand them.
