1. Practice Identity and Regulatory Status

Laissez Therapy is a private therapy practice operated by Martin Yearley, a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist accredited with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). All therapeutic services offered through this website and its associated client portal are delivered solely by Martin Yearley in his capacity as an accredited CBT practitioner. Laissez Therapy is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under registration number ZC171810 and operates in full compliance with UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and BABCP ethical and professional standards.

2. Scope of Services

Services offered through Laissez Therapy are limited to individual Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) provided to adult clients in a private practice setting. This practice does not offer crisis intervention, emergency mental health services, or inpatient or intensive outpatient treatment. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact your GP, call NHS 111, call 999, or contact the Samaritans on 116 123 (free, 24 hours).

3. Separation from Other Projects

Laissez Therapy is an independent regulated practice and is legally and operationally separate from any community projects, peer support networks, or technology ventures with which Martin Yearley may be associated in a personal capacity. No other project, platform, or community initiative is affiliated with, endorsed by, or delivered under the Laissez Therapy brand. In particular, Underground Therapies (a separate community and peer support project) operates independently of Laissez Therapy. ​The aim with Underground Therapies is to harness blockchain technology to build a global, privacy-first, free-to-use peer support network with varying levels of input from different levels of contributor in different jurisdictions. This venture will be a collaboration with Midnight Network (see https://midnight.network/).
